Dreamforce is a few short days away and Salesforce.com has done it’s job to put some of us in a frenzy of excitement. The Dreamforce app has been live for several months now so a lot of attendees started their networking long ago. And living up to the hype, they just released the Dreamforce Mobile app for iPhone last night (Blackberry and Android are coming soon if not already).

I’ve mentioned before that this is my first Dreamforce. Last year was incredibly depressing for me…I desperately wanted to go to Dreamforce but I wasn’t able to make the trip. So, during the course of DF ’09, I was glued to my computer…watching the live-streamed keynotes, reading any blog that even mentioned Dreamforce, and hounding Twitter. Thanks to everyone that fed info to us on the outside…I even got a swag care package from the most awesome Rob Cheng after the event. How cool is that!?

This year, it’s my turn to share the love. So here’s the plan.

Watch the Blog – I’ll be blogging here on Radialweb.com throughout the event to document the Dreamforce experience: people, sessions, exhibitors, tweetups, parties…anything I can. My trip starts on Sunday, so I’ll share my thoughts along the way. I’ll also be live blogging during the keynote on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. (Don’t forget theĀ Salesforce.com’s live video stream).

Follow on Twitter – I’ll be posting to twitter throughout the event at @kevinswiggum. But I promise I won’t tweet every stream of thought to the point that I’m obnoxious..I’ll save that for the live blog. The most popular Dreamforce hashtag is #df10.

The Dreamforce Portal – I’ll be keeping messages there short…definitely want to check in but don’t want to hog people’s Chatter stream.

YouTube – Internet access permitting, I’ll try to upload some videos to the RadialWeb YouTube channel. But you’ll find those on the blog too.

But most of all, I’ll be talking to as many people as I possibly can. There’s so many people in the Salesforce community that I want to meet and there’s no better chance than Dreamforce.

That’s it. Hope to see you there.
